Welcome to the 2009-2010 School-Year.
The staff of Ruby Drive Elementary believe that students can and will excel in an environment that is tailored to their evolving needs. Our API and AYP growth last year reflects the great strides we have made. We are extremely proud of our performance and we will continue to work efficiently as a staff to provide the high quality education your child deserves. Our hard working staff is both highly skilled and dedicated to the success of all students. We are fortunate to have many experienced and knowledgeable teachers eager to make a difference for our students. We believe in a student-centered approach, which provides an atmosphere in which a child's social, emotional, and intellectual needs are equally important. Parent involvement is also critical to the overall success of each child and is highly valued and encouraged at Ruby Drive. Through this supportive and caring environment, it is expected that students will become confident and successful lifelong learners as well as active participants and contributors to our society. We have an active and effective PTA, ELAC and School Site Council.
Collaborative efforts among administration, teachers, staff, and parents will ensure students thrive in an environment that fosters overall success.
